|Formelle forudsætninger:||DADIU (The National Academy of Digital, Interactive Entertainment) educates students in all aspects of producing a computer game. It is a collaboration between universities and art schools across Denmark, and the education is coordinated by the National Film School of Denmark. DADIU handles the application and admission process. Students are required to be accepted at DADIU if they want to take this course.

|Læringsmål:||After the course the student should be able to:
- describe, reflect on and act in her role as a team member of a joint game production
- create documents and products relating to her role
- describe all phases of game development (from idea to product)
- describe the various team roles on a development project
|Fagligt indhold:||The last two months of the semester on DADIU is spent on developing and completing a real computer game. Each team of approximately 15 students will have a production room with computers and softwar |
The DADIU Project is a supervised group project where students practice and reflect upon team work and game production. Supervision during this phase includes feedback and guidance by industry experts and DADIU’s teachers. The supervisors support the production of the game, the organisation of the group work, and the creation of the accompanying documentation.

You are assessed according to your abilities to demonstrate that you have acted in your specific role in the joint games production.
Your report consists of the following:
– Design Documents, Technical Design Documents, Test plans or other documents that were created during final production.
– The game produced during the final production
In your oral exam you a) demonstrate the game produced at DADIU and b) explain your role in the games production.
The oral exam takes 20 minutes: 10 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A
