|Læringsmål:||After the course the student should be able to:
• Describe IT governance control structures and mechanisms in a company
• Explain the value of IT governance
• Describe industry standards for IT process models (e.g. CoBIT)
• Analyze the contents of quality related standards and compliance requirements.
• Recommend an IT governance setup for a given situation
|Fagligt indhold:||The development of IT support for business processes requires IT management structures, independent of whether the system is purchased as COTS or developed for a specific purpose.
The students will be made aware of the impact of management structures on business processes, especially in a global context.
The students will introduced to a number of cases from the real world, by the people that working with the subject on a daily basis
The course is organized around lectures and readings supplemented discussions and exercises. The theoretical material is supplemented with real-life cases where key issues of IT Governance & Quality Management is presented and related to the theoretical material. The exercises are group based and are focused on working analytic with subject arear. The exercises are both case-based and based on the theoretical material."
